You got it!

Alt text is very useful for SEO, because it helps to get your images picked up by Google Image Search which means more traffic...

By George I got it.

Copy of Kopyguard censored

The alt tag is for text when the image is not displayed and the title tag for the rollover

and use the 'alt' tag to add text to the image:

[a href=http://www.printimage.co.za/][/a]

I've replaced all the '<' and '>' symbols with '[' and ']'...

[p style='text-align:left'][a href=http://www.printimage.co.za/][/a][/p]

Now that I read up on this I see for links to your website you should be descriptive. Like Reliable Printer and not website as google indexes the clickable text as well so it should be meaningful search term.
Now how do we add text to pictures with links.

Any HTML programmers out there to help?

Great Video, the basic message I got was optimise your own site as this slap means the importance of keyword/link farms is being reduced by google. The added benefit is that sites like this will then be used for networking and not for google rankings, this is great news. So lets get back to basiics

Does anyone here keep up to date of how google ranks pages? I see with with My Genius the older pages seem to get a higher rank, does this mean they are penalising some sites for being keyword farms? I am not an expert hence the questions so I am probably off track and need an experts view.

Hi Derrick

Yes it did make me think the artical has been toned down, maybe the researchers only focused on the normal areas of social acceptablity!

Interesting article, Mike...

But as some of the commenters say, the absence of anything to do with sex or porn is curious!
